A Good Week

This week has had some ups and some downs, but it has been a good week that we've been able to enjoy together. We had the opportunity to go to the temple and do family names this week which was super great and the results of our work that day were great with the spirit and happiness that the temple gave us. I'm so glad to have the temple here in our area.. even though sometimes it is a challenge because everyone has seen it and thus there is more work being done by Satan with all of the people here. We had a two days that we had the full day with appointments planned, but between the two days only one of them was able to receive us. All the others either weren't home or weren't able to listen at the time, but we still kept working on and did all we could to find people to teach. It wasn't easy, but I know the Lord is testing our faith to see how strong we are and it depends on me to do all I can to keep the work going and find the miracles.

We've seen many miracles this week even with these things that have been a bit hard. We're working with a young man who has been less active for most of the time he's been a member. He wants to learn English better - well practice - so we have just started to teach him (in English) when he's here in town. Yesterday he invited his friend who is not a member to also come and listen and he has a good desire to learn more and come unto Christ. Sometimes the miracles are things like the fact that we both speak English. We've found a couple of different people that way which is cool.

Another miracle is Alberto. He is a reference from a member here. We went to see him a week and a half ago and he went to church last Sunday and also yesterday. His friend who told us about him has told us that Alberto no longer is drinking since the first day we met with him. And he is preparing to be baptized. It's great to see the true desire in people's hearts and help them to change.
